Reiki is a natural healing method that balances energies in your body bringing about a feeling of relaxation peace and harmony. This natural healing energy flows in a powerful and concentrated form, through the hands of the Reiki giver.  The laying on of the hands directs the healing energy into the body of the receiver.  The Reiki giver is used as a channel to conduct the Universal Life Energy, and as a result, no personal energy is drawn or drained from the giver, who is simultaneously charged and strengthened.

What to expect during a treatment

A Reiki treatment is non-diagnostic, non-interventionist, non-manipulative and no pressure is applied.

A session is usually carried out with you either sitting or lying down, in a comfortable and peaceful environment.  There is no need to remove any clothes as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials, including plaster casts.

I will place my hands gently on or over your body and you will automatically draw in only as much energy as is needed, using it in whatever way is most appropriate at the time.

Reiki practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not offer any diagnosis or prognosis.  If you are concerned about any symptoms you should consult a GP.

The effects of Reiki can be combined with a 30 minute Aromatherapy or Seated Acupressure Massage.
